In Canada, in France and across Europe, at home or on the other side of the Atlantic. From strategy through to a signed contract or a closed investment.
It may be in development or already on the market. Either way, you are missing the same thing: access to buyers, to investors and to the right decision-makers. I open those doors and stay with you through to a signed contract or a closed investment.
For a Canadian clean technology company growing at home, or a foreign company setting up there.
For a French or European energy transition company in its own market, or a company coming from elsewhere.
For a transatlantic project, in either direction.

"What he offers is worth its weight in gold. A warm, effective introduction almost triples your chances of closing, instead of trying to get in through the wrong door."
Cleantech Expansion is a business development consultancy founded by Pierre-Olivier Brodeur and based in France. It helps energy and ecological transition companies with commercial expansion and fundraising in Canada, in France and across Europe.
Founder, Cleantech Expansion
Fifteen years in finance, business development and sustainability, including director-level roles at the Business Development Bank of Canada.
Based in France, I work with clean technology companies in the Canadian market, in the French and European market, and between the two. I know Canadian SME financing and institutional networks from the inside, and I work on the ground with buyers, funds and regions in France and across Europe.
LinkedIn ↗ (opens in a new tab)No. I work with energy transition companies in the Canadian market and in the French and European market, whatever their origin. A French cleantech growing in France, a Canadian cleantech accelerating in Canada, or a project crossing the Atlantic: all three are part of my work.
From the earliest stages. A young clean technology company preparing its seed round, with a technology still in development (TRL 3 or 4), already needs to choose its market, talk to the right pilot customers and meet the right investors. I also work with transition SMEs opening a new market, and with organisations that lead business delegations.
A 30-minute call, with no commitment, to understand your target market, your objective and what is in the way. If the timing is right, I propose a fixed-fee strategic diagnostic, then a commercial expansion or fundraising mandate.
For a deliverable (strategic diagnostic, study, mapping), a fixed fee based on an hourly rate and agreed before we start. For a commercial representation or fundraising mission, a combination of a fixed fee and a success fee, which keeps the upfront cost low and suits small companies well.
Clean technologies in the broad sense: renewable energy, hydrogen, storage, geothermal and heat networks, energy efficiency, advanced and bio-based materials, sustainable buildings, e-mobility, circular economy, water, carbon capture, green biotech, sustainable agriculture, climate data.
In France, in the Drôme. I travel across France, Europe and Canada for meetings, trade shows and on-the-ground missions.
